I am currently in the process of making an LED table which includes 200 LEDs (20x10). I am currently using 12mm LED Pixel strips using a WS2801 driver (tutorial is found here: Overview | 12mm LED Pixels | Adafruit Learning System. Right now I can successfully control all of the LEDs and can program them to do whatever I want them to do.
I have two requests or things that I need help with in order to complete this project. One of these is memory storage. Some of the programs I have written require large arrays of data that the arduino is currently unable to handle. I was wondering what shield would be best for this application and if anyone had any ideas of the best way to go about this.
My second request is information about how to change what program the table is showing remotely, either over wireless or Bluetooth. Again, I do not know anything about using Bluetooth or wireless with an arduino so I was wondering if there was a shield that could work for this and how I could combine this with a storage shield.
Thank you for the help and if you have any other ideas that could help me complete this project I would love to hear them.
