leds not lighting up

hi, i have a code to control leds and it uploads fine but they wont turn on when i hook them up. They always work whenever i use other code but they wont for this.

We need to know what strip you have and how you have wired them up, so please post a schematic and a good photograph showing the wiring.

You need to post the code correctly press the top left hand icon </> and paste the code between the ] and [
This is because without this the forum software mistakes some code for formatting information, which is why some of your code in in italics.

That sketch uses 1944 bytes of memory.
What are you using?

Why have you no capacitor across the LED strip?

It would also seem that you are trying to draw the power from the 5V line of the Arduino. That many LEDs take just under 39 Amps. The maximum you can draw from an Arduino's 5V line is less than 0.5 Amps.

trust me the wiring works fine for everything and i have a mega 2560. i've run 2 full light strips for it using an external power cord alongside the arduino, but whats wrong with the code?

The code is for a matrix but you have 2 full strips. How does that work?

.

i got the 2 to light up with different code, i have the matrix now
