Some of the migrated badges from the old forum software don't seem to work properly anymore.
Examples:
I have 1k posts and the badges still say:
For some reason, badges are also removed when a user reaches the next class of it's type.
That seems reasonable though.
Is this a known bug?

If I recall correctly, some of the badge states are only updated once a day. So if you've just passed 1000 messages today, you should see the change sometime early tomorrow.

Karma wasn't a serious thing and AFAIC these badges are the same only more juvenile.

Hi @anon92864395. Posts made in topics under the Bar Sport category don't count towards earning badges.
I see you have made 1006 posts and 22 of those were in topics under the #general:bar-sport category. So you are still 16 shy of reaching the 1000 non-Bar Sport posts required to earn the "Edison" badge.
