Leonardo without headers - discontinued?

Hi all,

I'm in the UK and am finding that serveral outlets but not all are mentioning that the Leonardo without headers is discontinued...

Can this be confirmed and does anyone know why?

I'd like to use it for my project because the header pin sockets on the mega and the uno are too tall and I'd prefer to solder my wires in place as the machine I want to use it for vibrates significantly and I don't want to risk the header pins coming out.

I never knew that there was a Leonardo without headers. Instead of a Leonardo you can consider a Micro; might be easier to de-solder or might not come with a header at all.

Or a SparkFun Pro Micro; less pins but does not come with pins soldered on. One disadvantage seems to be that the USB connector easily breaks off.
