LH878 PIR Sensor

Trying to get the LH878 PIR sensor to see movement before attempting to build a motion detector on a WeMos D1 mini.
Pins on LH878 are
D which would connect to vcc
S which would be the output of its amplifier
and G which would be the ground

According to data sheet the sensor has a built in amplifier and it requires a 47K load resistor between S and D . So before attempting any code, I would like to see if I could just connect it up to fire a led so I know it will work. As of now I don't have a viable circuit. Any comments would be greatly appreciated here, thanks.

There is not much to comment on. I could not even find a decent data sheet.
But from your description, it sounds live an open drain device and hence the pull up resistor.
You could try with an LED and suitable current limiting resistor, but ensure you don't exceed the current 'sink' capacity of the device.
