Libraries for 5" displays?

I would like to use a bit larger 5" displays. Is there any library support for them.

I'm having a heck of a time trying to get my own display to work properly right now so maybe I'm not the best person to be trying to give advice!

However, from my day of searching the internet for a solution to my own issues I'm pretty sure I have seen people successfully using 5" and 7" displays with Henning Carlsen's UTFT Library here (and the UTouch library in the same site).

UTFT is one option surely.

I searched this and found some which looked good.

Has anyone a working 5" display? What kind?

Hi LMI,

I have both SSD1963 and CPLD 5" displays both work fine with UTFT on both Mega and DUE.

Hope this helps.

Regards,

Graham

Thank you

UTFT is good for hobby use but if I want to sell my products, it is not free.

Has anyone tried displays with FT812 or FT813. It looks like they are easy to use. I could probably make my own software without libraries.

Like these from TME

This is a link to an actuall display.

It talks about FT813 and HX8664B/HX8264D. I don't know what that means.

The FTDI is awesome, and really fast to display, better yet libraries are FREE! I have used the Gameduino2(4.3"), also the FT800 with a 5" screen on a commercial product. Attempted the UTFT with smaller screens, but wasn't what I was looking for.

Okey, good to know. They have a SPI interface but with this controller it is not so critical.

Has anyone tried using the arduino uno with boards like this:

or this:

I am interested but at a complete loss on how to connect this to my arduino and what libraries I should use, if it's possible at all.
