You do not have a 32U4 processor on an Uno so changing what you changed will not help.
Timer2 is used by NewPing, timer1 by IRremote. It now depends on how the libraries exactly use the timers to see what is possible but I have not much hope; and it will definitely take a lot of time (for me) to figure it out. Leaves timer0 for PWM and hence (I think) pins 5 and 6.
Using a board with a processor that has more timers might be a solution.
You can start a new thread indicating your problem; maybe somebody has a clever idea. You will also have to indicate how you use all your pins.
