Hi

I want to develop a library for a commercial sensor that doesn't come with its own library for Arduino, just a simple sketch.

Suppose the sensor is Model from Company, can I name my library "CompanyModel" on GitHub, without getting into trouble?

This is mostly a learning experience for me, I have never developed a library for Arduino, or made anything public on GitHub.

I would not. Such a name implies that Company is responsible for the library. I would expect that you'd need permission from Company to use their name that way.
