Life of a ATtiny85

I have created a model rocket launcher for a friend of mine using the ATTiny85 as the core and here probably is a silly question, but how long (years, months, days) will the ATtiny85 continue to run. I know this is a swag, but I won't be there every time that he launches a rocket so won't be able to troubleshoot. Should I burn one or two more so if the original chip fails, he can plug the next one in and continue? He launches a dozen or so rockets every month so it's not like he will wear it out, but still should it last indefinably?
This is the first project that I have done with an ATTiny and one that I am not around/

Thanks

If treated properly, an ATTiny85 should run for at least a decade, 24/7, and maybe two. The same sorts of microprocessors are in your microwave oven, answering machines, desk clocks and a billion other devices.

I think, it can run much longer if something does not destroy it, like electrical shock or the force from outside. However, if we consider its use in a rocket model, the question is how many Gs it can handle.

the electronic design knowledge and construction skills of the rocketeers.

Actually, the chip is on the launch pad. I use a rc transmitter with a receiver to ignite the rocket engine. It stays on the ground.

Then there is nothing to worry about.

I have ATmega in the heating control system about 11 years. It is still OK.
The only wearing is write/erase cycle for FLASH which is 10k and EEPROM 100k. Reading is harmless.

Thanks to everyone who answered. Onward and upward.
