I’m new to the forum. I’ve always wanted to get into Arduino to make fun special effects that could be triggered by a switch at my home bar.. but I haven’t got there yet.
This topic is about an idea for my work. I’m looking to make a map that essentially lights LEDs on major cities and landmarks over time to represent a flight. I would also have a timer below it to show the overall flight time.
I was wondering the following sounds feasible and relatively doable for a beginner. I want to use an arduino to connect a led strip that gradually lights small portions over a two hour period while a small timer counts up. I was thinking of taking a large map and lining the led strip up behind it.. cutting out small holes over the path of flight.
