On my arduino the LED light labeled L is constantly blinking orange with about a second delay. I read in the guide book and it shows an example sketch named "Blink" (under "File > Examples > 01.Basics") and that program should apperently make the arduino act like this. I do not know whats going on, is the orange blinking light signaling anything?
If you have not programmed anything up a new Arduino has a little sketch in it that blinks the LED. This is normal.
