so I am new to programing and arduinos. I was looking at making a lightsaber to get me started. I have an arduino nano a teenzy prop shield with a motion sensor, audio amplifier, fast led driver, and a flash memory. I also have some SMD5050 neopixel led strips. I want a few things for my lightsaber to do. right now all I want it to do is when I press a button it will turn on the leds and when i press it again it will turn them off in a lightsaber going up the blade type way. I also want it so that when I hold the button down it will change color. I will worry about sound and clash animations in the future but for now just the lights. can anyone give me some pointers with this please. thank you.

Introductory Tutorials is for tutorials that you write, hence your topic has been moved to a more suitable location on the forum. Feel free to write a tutorial once you have finushed your light sabre
