LilyGo T-SIM7000G

Hello All, I am wanting some advice prior to me investing in a LilyGo T-SIM7000G dev board.

Does anyone have experience with Arduino IDE and LilyGo T-SIM7000G? Are there any pitfalls or things to be mindful of?

Also, does anyone know if the schematic documentation here: Xinyuan-LilyGO/LilyGO-T-SIM7000G: LilyGO T-SIM7000G (github.com) is complete enough to simply redraw in Eagle PCB?

Basically, I am wanting to create a board for my own use that will have similar functionality to this board, but with some extras meshed it. It would be really convenient if I could grab a dev board, get it all running on a breadboard, then design the whole system on one PCB.

Many thanks to anyone taking the time to look this over.

Great to see others playing with this board. I received mine about 2 weeks ago and so far, it seems promising... Trying to build a BLE to MQTT gateway...

Thanks @tremmert, that certainly sounds interesting. Have you dug deep enough into the schematics to know if it is the full deal in there yet?
