Hello,
I am trying to program a LilyPad USB and my computer doesn't seem to recognise the port where the LilyPad is connected. I am running Arduino 1.6.5 on a MacBook Pro (Retina, 13-inch, Mid 2014) with Yosemite. The only place where I can see the LilyPad is at my Network Connections, as a Not Connected modem device.
I have used the same LilyPad in the past in my previous MacBook Pro (I think it was a 2010 model) - that was also running on Yosemite and I had no problems with the virtual ports. Every time that I hooked up the LilyPad I immediately saw it as keyboard device. I read that the LilyPad USB uses the standard USB drivers, so I can't understand what's wrong.
Also, every time that I connect it to my usb port the red stat LED is blinking and I can hear a very high-pitch sound.
Any suggestions anyone?
P.S. I have tried it with 4 different LilyPad USB boards and it's the same with all of them. I don't have any Leonardo to check if it's something related to the ATmega32U4. Arduino UNO and LilyPad Main Board 328 works perfectly with the FTDI drivers.
