I'm currently having an issue with my lilypad light sensor and the readings. I have it connected to 7 leds that randomly twinkle when the reading is under a certain threshold. When I connected it with alligator clips, the code executed correctly and the leds would go on only when the condition was met.
I have now got it hooked up in a garment using conductive ribbon of about 7 inches. I've checked that I get a connection on both ends. The read on the sensor is now extremely high around 900-1012 vs with the alligator clips at 0-50. Also shining a light or covering the sensor seems to have no affect now.
My assumption is that there is too much resistance and I need to move the sensor closer to the board?
If anyone out there has any advice, I'm all ears!
