So I'm working on a costume where i want a series of lights in a swirling pattern to come one at time and off one at a time. (to make it kind of look like fairy dust) I wrote the program and works exactly how I want it. I would love to do more than 20 lights though is there a way to hook to lilypad controller boards together to get more lights? my guess is that I would need to wright two programs and figure out how long it takes the first one to run and how ever long that one takes to start with that length of time as a delay to make it look like continuous lights. Would this work? Is there an easier way to do this?
Easier way is to connect to a MAX7219 that can control up to 64 LEDs, turning LEDs on/off merely requires writing to a register.
I offer a little breakout board that makes it easy to breakout the LEDs.
