Limit switch with cnc shield

I have an ME-8111 limit switch, want to connect it with cnc shield.
This limit switch has 4 pins, 2 normally closed and 2 normally opened.
How do I wire them to the cnc shield?

GND and "LimitXYZ". Use normally closed wires.

Looks like you either use the two NO contacts or the two NC contacts. Time to get your multimeter out and measure.

So i connect 1 NC to positive and the other NC (com) to the ground.
But how i know the com using the multimeter.

It's a switch, what does it matter?

Yes, so it doesnt matter which NC connected to positive or negative on the shield.
But then why i want to use the multimeter whay should I know using it?

You use it to measure the switch while it is not connected to anything because you want to make sure that you understand how the limit switch works.

What should it give on NC when pressed and when not.

Measure it. Give the results and we can verify.

NC:
when connected, range 0.1 - 20 ohms always varies
When not connected it is unverified.

Same for NO

What? Use your ohms setting. Measure the resistance between the two NC terminals, see what it is when the switch is pressed as compared to when the switch is not pressed.

While you are at it, do the same on the two NO terminals.

Yes i have done this
The results that were obtained in NC when pressed same as NO when pressed, and same results for NO and NC when not pressed.

Your switch is worthless, mislabeled somehow, broken or you aren't doing what we think.

NC pair: pressed infinite ohms, not pressed 0 or close enough to 0 ohms.

NO pair: pressed 0 or close enough to 0 ohms, not pressed infinite ohms.

Try again to be sure.

Yes this what is being resulted when pressed infinity, and close to 0 when not pressed on NO and NC cases
