Linrose Superbrite RGB LED - 3 legs

I've got an Arduino UNO.

I've seen tutes for two legs and four legs, but not 3 legs.

Specifically the breadboard, the pins, and the coding..

This looks like a comparable model if it helps:

I've also got specs from the package.

I might add, I'm an arduino newbie but, I also own a raspberry pi and beaglebone black, so, I'm
not entirely new, just largely a novice in this area.

Thanx

OK, there are a number of different things here.

The "Red/Green/Amber" LED is in fact a simple two colour LED - amber or yellow is what you get adding red to green - as it is in a RGB LED anyway.

There are as in the "instructables" answers, LEDs which contain sequencers which can be controlled to some degree by a third pin.

And the LED in the youtube video may be a rather odd "Charlieplexed" one which has the three elements connected in a circular sequence. Mind you I could only see two colours in the video anyway.

I haven't followed so I could be wrong but "Green Amber Tricolor" isn't the same as RGB.

Duh. Good point.

Burned on two levels.

Maybe I'll just go get a proper "RGB" LED.
