Hi, I've successfully created a menu using the LiquidMenu library with 19 screens with 2 lines each (16x2 LCD). These are setpoint variables for stepper motor controls. When I compile the code no issues found but I found that in there is a variable called MAX_SCREENS that is set to 14 by default in LiquidMenu_config.h. I tried updating this variable to 20 and then recompiled my code but the limit of screens is still 14. I tried to change the processor in the Arduino IDE (1.8.19) to force a total recompile but that doesn't seem to remedy the problem.
I tried to figure out how to implement a 2 tiered menu structure that would limit the number of screens/menu but cannot figure out how to make that work using the LiquidMenu library.
My questions are:
1.) Does anyone know why I can't change the MAX_SCREENS variable and get LiquidMenu to recompile with my sketch?
2.) Does anyone have an example of a LiquidMenu sketch that implements a 2 tiered menu structure like:
Parameter 1
--> Param 1 Speed
-- > Param1 Acceleration
--> Param 1 Position
Param 2
--> Param 2 Speed
-- > Param2 Acceleration
--> Param 2 Position
Appreciate any help offered, Thanks
