LM35DZ short-circuit

Hi,

When I try to wire a LM35DZ to my Arduino UNO, It get short-circuited, I've used the shema below, is my LM35 broken or is it a bad wiring?

How do you know it gets shorted? Did you get it from a serious vendor?

My arduino turns off when I wire it, and I'm not sure about the vendor.

Try another sensor.

Dtatsheet: https://www.ti.com/lit/ds/symlink/lm35.pdf page 3 has the proper pin out.

From looking at the 2nd pic, you may not have it wired in correctly. See the TO-92 view.

When I wire it like in the datasheet you gave, (TO-92) it give me random values variating from something like 40 to 1023, ascending then descending, thanks anyway I think this sensor is broken.

Where did you get it? These days every chip from eBay is suspect I'm afraid.

Leave everything plugged in like it is and only pull out the LM35 and see if the Arduino powers up.

Confirm what happens.

Then re-plug in the sensor and report what happens
