Loading bootloader to ATMEGA 4809 PF DIP-40

Hello,

Is my first time with UPDI uploading.

My 4809PF is on minimal config described in Technoblogy - Minimal ATmega4809 on a Breadboard

I am aware about:

Now: I cannot find in IDE 2 > Tools > BoardsManager the option for targeting 4809.

So there is no option for the 4809? Is there options at all for any other board? You might need to go in preferences and put the BoardsManager url for your board.

Did you install The MegaCoreX Core?
The Normal Arduino 4809 boards (Uno WiFi2 and Nano Every) don't use a bootloader, so even if you have support for those installed, you won't have a useful "burn bootloader"; you need the third party package.
