Location Detector-Controlled Light

hiii, i wanted to create something that can detect your location where in during the night and when you come back to ur house, the light will automatically open because it sensed that you are now home. i also want to ask if someone already made this and if it is possible? what arduinos can i use if so? thankss

edit: my concept is a machine that tracks your location and if you are near your desired location, the machine will turn on the lights. i was thinking of using a bluetooth module. is it possible? what arduinos to use?

the light will automatically open

Explain, please

I meant by that is once the machine senses they are near a desired location like they have arrived at their house, the machine will send a message that can control the light to turn on

A standard security light outside your home would appear to do what you have described.

is it already existing tho?

Of course, they've been around for decades.

Hi, may i know what feature I can add that is not existing and possible? i very need your help. thank you so much

Is the only requirement for the additional feature uniqueness, or should it also be desirable?

If you're interested in using the same sort of sensor that is in the security lights with your Arduino board, just search for "PIR module" at your favorite online marketplace or electronics supplier. They are cheap, easy to use with an Arduino board, and pretty fun too!

A tutorial about them here:

both and something not yet made

Suggest you get some and try them and see what might be changed to get what you want.

do you have any suggestions on what to get and try? i would really love to hear your suggestions

How about a PIR-triggered door lock, with an MP3 player, that asks the person a simple question.
If answered correctly, they are allowed to pass, otherwise they are ejected into The Gorge of Eternal Peril.

this is a great idea! but what arduinos should i use for the mp3 player? is the concept already existing?

A DFplayer & speaker, a couple of yes/no buttons, a PIR, a door lock, ejection mechanism and a Nano.

The concept was mentioned in a film, but not implemented on an Arduino, that I recall.

You'll have to find your own Gorge of Eternal Peril. Or dig one.

this is a very nice concept, and i was hoping of using it and make chanhes here and there. thank you so much for your help, i am extremely grateful!

I suggest you go to your local hardware store and examine their selection.
