I want family login this computer. So I log out. when they click login is me, not allow change ID. Why is this way? Please to fix.
Hi @boristheromanoff. I'm sorry to hear you are having some sort of problem with login.
I am having a lot of difficulty understanding what the problem is. Please provide a detailed explanation of what you mean by this, including:
- What did you do?
- What were the results you expected from doing that?
- What were the results you observed that did not match your expectations?
- Make sure to include the full and exact text of any error or warning message you might have encountered.
He wants family members to be able to login to the forum on the same computer. He logs out so they can login. But as soon as they click login it brings up his account and and does not allow changing the user ID.
Browser is Firefox.
Something that periodically causes confusion is that there are multiple Arduino websites that share the same login. This means that if you only log out at forum.arduino.cc, you may still be authenticated at arduino.cc, so if you go to log back in to forum.arduino.cc then it uses those credentials and automatically logs you back in.
Not logged in https://arduino.cc/ . both. Still problem.
Opra and Chrome same problem.
What happens if you try it in a private or "incognito" browser window (File > New Private Window in Firefox)? That should ensure that the browser session is not authenticated on the Arduino SSO.
That works if close and get new window each time.
I'm glad to hear it is working now. Enjoy!
