Hello everybody,
Im about to built a prototype logistic warehouse robot for my university final project. I have searched and watched videos like this High-Speed Robots Part 1: Meet BettyBot in "Human Exclusion Zone" Warehouses-The Window-WIRED - YouTube
Those robots move so accurate that their wheel line overlap exactly on the floor without any error. I wonder how do they do that, self location recognize and move so percise. I see the RFID/barcode tags on the floor, but do they only use RFID/barcode tags in this case? I dont know if they also use magnetic line or not, the robot move so straight. The tag grid is standalone or combined with lines? If its standalone, how do the robots move so straight like that? Im a little bit confuse with this. Thank you.
Hello, I cannot help you with your question but since I read that you're building a prototype for your university I want to suggest you to try this website https://mlcomponents.com/ to buy parts. Also for your future projects, the company will be happy to help you!

Thank you anyway!
It looks like they establish a position by one tag then navigate inertially to the next tag until they arrive at a destination. An overview.
