I pulled apart my Logitech Air MX mouse ( http://www.logitech.com/index.cfm/mice_pointers/mice/devices/3443&cl=us,en ) curius to see exactly which gyro/accelo they use internally as I've seen mention of it having either 5 or 6 axis capabilities ( InvenSense gloats about world's first 6-axis MEMS-based motion sensing solution | Engadget)
So once I open it up I find an Invensense IDG-3000 which seemingly is completely undocumented on the interwebs. I see numerous reference to IME-3000 and several IDG-300/500/600 MEMS ; but not a thing on this chip.
Anyone have any ideas? It is clearly labeled by the OEM as Invensense and the closest thing I can find is http://www.invensense.com/products/idg_2000.html . I've emailed them requesting more info ... but no response. Any help would be appreciated.
Also BTW , the Air MX mouse contains and Atmel AtMega32L in there ![]()
