Long Compilation time with Nano 33 BLE

I recently started with Arduino Nano 33 BLE. I am experiencing very long compile time approx. 2hrs even for simple blink example. I tried different versions of IDE (1.8.11,1.8.12 and 1.8.13), but no real improvement in compilation time.

I read that I need to disable or add the Arduino folder to antivirus exclusion list may reduce compilation delay. Since I am using IDE in my official system, i won't be able to induce any change respect to antivirus.

Is there any workaround for this apart from turning off antivirus to improve the compile time?
Please help me to resolve this! Any help would be appreciated:)

Thanks,
Praveen.

What does your PC system look like (OS, hard drive type, antivirus)? I just compiled Blink (Arduino IDE 1.8.13) and it took less than 40 seconds on a medium range laptop. I remember longer compilation times month ago, but the situation has improved a lot with the new IDE versions.

Why does the IDE take 2 minutes to start? That's the part that annoys me.
