Hey i love to ride my longboard.. im a diy guy .. who is not .. i know lol
I just bought it recently off a friend for 50 dollars but its a water damaged 300 dollar board..
I took off the deck, sanded it and put some laquer over it
Ordered some new soft bushings and all kinds of awesome stuff online today..
but here it comes.. i saw this guy on campus the other day.. he had a longboard that was powerd by an emotor ..
He was holding a wii controller and steering the board around with that .. it was pretty incredible! I sped up and caught him.. .we talked for a while about it .. he said he used some stuff from his lab to make it ..
Now that whole thing got me thinking ... I should do something like that .. anyone have any experience with it? using accelerometers .. electric motors .. longboards?
(sorry if my thoughts are bubbly in there but ive been studying for 2 days straight with only a few hours of sleep ...)
20 pages to go... i better get on that now..
Dream about my longboard ideas
