Hi,
I am new to the Arduino world. I am using Linux only.
I am looking for a certain type of LCD (no OLED):
- dotmatrix, each dot addressable
- black dots on white/siver-grey background
- two rows
- and (which seems to be the most hardest part) small so the display
will not extend much over the height (smaller edge) of a pro mini or nano.
Best would be if it will use I2C and can be used with an Arduino Nano/Pro Mini 3.3V
Backgriund: I like small and capable electronics. Everything bigger than the 007-form factor
is really too oversized 
(I am no native English speaker, sorry...)
