looking for 4-20mA current driver controlled by arduino

Hello,

I'm working with a VFD which use 4-20mA at analoge input as frequency set-point.
I want to change this set-point by 4-20mA current driver controlled by arduino board.
Note - It has to be OTS item.

any advice?

thanks a lot,

I'd like to help you, but don't understand, as I'm new n arduino and don't know what be OTS item is. is something like this?

Off The Shelf.

so if i understand you correctly, you want a device that can control how much current goes out? like a current limiter?

Check:

Digi-Key should have it.

Or, for digital input:

4..20mA is a totally industry standard analog control signal, normally at 24V, there will be
off the shelf units, the OP is asking for such.

Hi,
What model VSD is it?

Tom.....

Plenty of 4-20mA voltage to current modules on ebay.

Leo..

Google Search: Arduino 4-20 mA shield

User Manual

Nice find, but that is input only. It's a data logger. The OP wants output.

Maxim does some SPI to 4-20ma chips. That seems to package all the required components into one chip.

Ready built there is this:-
