Looking for a good way to go from 12v to 5v and 3.3v using mini360 buck converte

Hi all,

I'm working on a project were I need 12v, 5v and 3.3v. I'm using 12v for my arduino, led-strips and pumps. 5v for my relay-board and 3.3v for my ESP8266.
I've bought some mini360 buck converter, but because I'm still kind off new to all of this, I still have some questions:

Is it save to go from 12v to 3.3v with these converters?
Or is it better if I first step down from 12v to 5v, and then with a second converter to 3.3v?

As long as you stay within voltage and power spec, it ought to be fine. The only things that could damage it would be if you put more than 23v on the input or drew too much current, none of which seems likely in your case.
