Has anyone hacked a cat door? I want to build an RFID cat door and I am uncertain about the actuator for the latch. There are electronic cat doors out there, though that kind of defeats the purpose of building one. I do want the normal cat-flap type idea, just with a locking latch that I can actuate with a solenoid I suppose. If anyone's done something like this already I'd like to compare notes.
