I am looking for a mood light project to use with addresable led strip and an Arduino.
I have googled this but not gettting the right results, that's why I ask here.
Thanks

I do not want a mood lamp, and I only asked in case anyone uses what I want or knows where I can get it
.
I'm sorry I asked

Presently I have a 12v non addressable led strip which is connected by the RGB wires to an Arduino, and I have a mood lighting project/code for it.
I also have a 12v WS2812 addressable led strip which I am looking for a suitable mood lighting library.
The only things I have done is to search for a suitable library to see if it can be used for addressable WS2812 leds, but not found one yet.
Not being a programmer, I did look to see if I could modify a library file for a non addressable leds , to suit addressable leds. This doesn't look possible for me to do, so I left it.
I do see that there are over 200 led projects on the Create Arduino website, but have not found what I am looking for yet.
Maybe there isn't what I'm looking for.
Is it a good or bad mood you're looking for?

The two main contenders are the Adafruit Neopixel and FastLED libraries, although there are a few other available options.
Your project sounds quite simple so either of them should do you OK.
The built-in examples will probably get you about 80% of the way to your mood light.
Something to check: are you sure your WS2812 strip is 12 volts? I've only ever seen 5v ones.
Also, if you google "WS2812 Arduino" you'll find lots of information.
What does your existing mood light project do? Can you post the code?

Lol, no neither actually , but just nice looking one.
