Looking for a (rare?) screen

Hi, I am looking for screens and after a long research I didn't find the ones that I need.

I want screens like the ones in this pedalboard:

The small ones are the ones that I 'm interested.

Things that I'd like:

  • Backlight, so you can read them easily well in total darkness or under a lot of sun.
  • At least three backlight colors to choose: Red green and blue.
  • I'd like to use 12, so the cheaper the better.
  • It would be great if it has not only a line or two of text, but a screen full of pixels to show simple "icons" like a triangle for "Play" or a square for "Stop" or text when needed.

I think that's it. Is there something like that out there? I haven't been able to find anything.

Thanks and sorry for my english.

Edit: Grammar and more detailed info.

From the video, I assume these smaller displays have 128x64 pixel. Size seems to be 60x30mm.

Option 1: EA

These LCDs are usually custom made, but i think the DOGM128W (transflective) comes close to it: https://www.lcd-module.com/eng/pdf/grafik/dogm128e.pdf

The DOGM128 can be combined with an RGB backlight, which probably is also used in the padelboard.
I personally would not call this rare, but it is probably not that cheap.

DOGM128W: $25
RGB Backlight: $45

So for 12 units, this will be more than $800.

Option 2: Adafruit

Hmm... little bit expensive. I remember Adafruit once had such a display.
Ah, yes: Graphic ST7565 Positive LCD (128x64) with RGB backlight + extras [ST7565] : ID 250 : $17.95 : Adafruit Industries, Unique & fun DIY electronics and kits

Is cheaper and might fit even better (the aspect ratio seems to be more close to the one in the padelboard).

Option 3: buydisplay.com

Cheap option, but has a ZIF connector only. So this will be a little bit difficult for a DIY project.
Note: Buydisplay also offers an even smaller version for even lesser money.

Option 4: New Haven Display

Also NHD offers an RGB display: http://www.newhavendisplay.com/nhdc12864a1zfsrgbfbwht1-p-3896.html

Sooo... there are a lot of options. I personally think, the Adafruit comes close and has a good price...
