I'd like to make an Arduino controlled 1 inch solenoid valve for my BBQ smoker. The concern is I want it to open partially under commend, maybe have 0%, 25%, 50%, 75%, and 100% depending on how much air flow it needs.
Any suggestions where i can find one?

Solenoids are usually only open/close, on/off type actuators and you will probably have little luck trying to use it as a linear actuator to modulate flow.

How about, instead of a solenoid valve, use a servo motor or a linear actuator- some models of which behave exactly like servos anyway- to control a baffle?
Or a motorised valve. These act like a motorised tap [fawcet].
I assume you are trying to control the temperature automatically. Have you considered small muffin fans to control the airflow?
Or use 4 solenoids.
