Hi,
I'm looking for arduino workshops in London. The only people I know are tinker.it. Any other suggestions?
I also have a small budget (150) for a day workshop in Goldsmiths College, at the Interactive Media Lab. Anyone interested?

Hi,
Thanks yeah, these are the Tinker.it people. Thanks for the link though.
im doing a processing course at the V & A which starts on the 26th
Programming for Artists and Designers: an Introduction to Processing
Tuesdays 26 January - 16 March
Digital Studio, Sackler Centre
18.30-21.00Writing your own computer programs can open up new possibilities and perspectives in art and design. Processing (www.processing.org ) is an open source programming language for developing visualisations and interactions. While the basics are easy to learn, the language allows for quite complex applications - from generating organic forms and modeling physical systems, to collecting and visualizing data about online social dynamics, to responding to people and objects in the physical world. The first half of this course will focus on the basics of Processing: introduction to the language and its environment, fundamentals of programming, and introduction to object orientation. In the second half of the course, students will develop more advanced applications and will learn how to use Processing in conjunction with cameras and video, sound, the Internet, and Arduino microcontrollers and sensors. The class will emphasize hands-on work. Students will write a number of short programs and will focus on a longer project during the second half of the course. Part of the Decode exhibition programme.

You may find some keen Arduino users at Dorkbot London:
There are always a few Arduino hackers at the London Hackspace.
The London Hackspace hold monthly meetings that usually have someone giving a talk (there have been a number of Arduino based talks in the past.)
The last meeting details are here
Next months meeting hasn't been announced yet.
There is also a weekly meet up with details here
Yeah i'd also suggest keeping an eye on the London Hackspace events as there are Arduino Workshops that pop up from time to time and they are also free ![]()
