looking for atmega324a bootloader anyone know where I can find one for arduino ?

I think there's a well maintained core for the Atmega x4 series, but most of the attention is on the 644 and 1284. If they don't have a bootloader, you should be able to build optiboot for the 324 pretty easily - just base it off the 644/1284 (the people who got that working did "hard" part, if there was one)

The guy who told me how to do the menu system mentioned a core that used the submenu functionality in 1.6.4 for all the Atmega x4 parts, IIRC

i see ... ive got the mighty core it works great for all my other chips but wont work on atmega324A only on the
