Is there an easy to use WiFi solution to use with Arduino boards anno 2021 that does not rely on a Chinese Espressif coprosessor? Somehow I don't trust it, and it seems to load a lot of bloat during compiling which takes many minutes. Can't find it. Sometimes you find something with say an uBlox module, but those turn out to be ESP32 as well.
The long arm of China wants to be in all our IOT it seems.
have a look at the ARDUINO MKR WIFI 1010
WiFi and Bluetooth connectivity is performed with a module from u-blox, the NINA-W10
Crypto capability is ensured through the Microchip ECC508
WINC1500 WiFi shields and modules with Arduino WiFi101 library are the best Arduino WiFi
Will try that, thanks. Nina-W10 is disguised ESP. I assume the Swiss make it a better usable product, but I will start with the WINC1500 for now.
indeed
