Just to give you the end goal first - I’m trying to create an automatic watering system using an Arduino and a solenoid, with moisture sensors attached. I’m beginning this process with VERY little knowledge of what I am doing.
To the crux of my question: I don’t know what solenoid to buy. I was hoping some people here would be able to advise me on what to get. I have done some research, including on this forum, but haven’t been able to find the answers I’m after.
I need it to have six outlets, each of them being able to be opened separately from any of the others. Is this possible?
I don’t think the outlet size is too big a deal (as I can kind of imagine that I’ll be able to find or craft a connector if necessary), but for what it is worth, the tubing I have is quite small, probably 4mm in diameter.
Honestly, I have no idea what I’m talking about and I kind of expect this to be a looooong journey - so any advice or suggestions you have would be really appreciated. Thanks for taking your time, and let me know if there’s anything else you need to know!
