Having almost completed a camera slider project, I'm left with a spare Arduino UNO, an Adafruit motor shield and a nema 0.4A 200 step stepper motor.
I'm looking for some interesting ideas or a project to use these surplus items for.
Any ideas?

Indoor sundial - have the stepper move an LED on a boom round over 24 hours.
Hi MarkT
I guess my question was a bit tongue in cheek, but I didn't expect that.
I think a drink dispenser might be more appropriate, fetch bottle from fridge, open, pour into glass and light ciggy.

Ah, but that would require a lot more hardware - I thought slow rotation, what turns slowly and bingo
had idea. Perhaps a telescope tracking device then if you want more than frivolous - however the lack
of microstepping makes that less obvious match.
I saw a while back somewhere a device that retracted a coffee cup on a desk out of range - the idea being
its harder to spill it, and had something like a photosensor, camera or voice-recognition to summon the
cup back in range when you wanted to drink. Presumably this was a project of someone who had recently
split a drink on their computer keyboard!
