I don't know the name of what I'm looking but I could try and described it:
a small warm light that I could control using Arduino. not those regular 3mm/5mm led but something that is more like room bulb light but small. Any recommendations?

Maybe this what I'm looking for? link how this can be controlled using Arduino? I probably need a transistor. a bjt is fine or misfit is needed?

They are also very inefficient. With incandescent bulbs, only about 10% of the power they consume produces light. The other 90% is heat. Can't you find something LED with similar quality light?
An ordinary BJT like BC337 might be ok.
Only you know that.
