I initially wanted to build an Internet gateway using an UNO R3 ( or an Arduino Mega ) in conjunction with an Ethernet shield, but everyone is telling me this will be too slow if impossible to make work. So I am abandoning the idea in favor of using as Raspberry Pi, as much as I wanted to remain faithful to the Arduino line. So please consider this effort closed, thank you.
