Looking to use Arduino to control 3 go pro cameras

Hi, I am looking to connect Arduino to the start button on an arcade game ( Hot Shot - PrimeTime Amusements ). I'm then looking to connect the Arduino to a IOT Relay ( https://www.amazon.com/Iot-Relay-Enclosed-High-Power-Raspberry/dp/B00WV7GMA2 ) Which will then power on further powering on 3 GoPros that I will set to record upon USP Power Trigger to record the games session. I will need Arduino to only run the power to the relay for the duration of the game. How do I go about doing this I am a medical student and have no knowledge at all with coding or Arduino but I am a fast learner. Also if there is a Better way to do this please let me know.

I would also like to know if there is a way for Arduino to log the Scores for the games played and send them to a computer. Also triggering some sort of led system that lets everyone know when a high score is hit. So for example if 5 people play and the last person outscores everybody Arduino will log all of the scores but also cause an alarm when the high score is hit so the player knows they are in the lead until another person comes along beating their score causing the alarm to go off again.

Although, I guess , anything is possible . You are describing a pretty complex project and need to develop some programming skills before you start on this or are in a position to know whether or not it is feasible

Given the complexity of the project and your skillset mismatch, you may want to consider paying to have this project developed.

You can probably find a capable and sufficiently hungry fellow student at your school. If not, you can come back here, flag this post, and ask a moderator to move it to the jobs section, but you'll find that to likely be a bit more expensive.

What is described in #1 seems pretty straightforward, and can be implemented following the examples in the IDE.

Basically: when a button is pressed, a relay is activated (to power those cameras). That's beginner material.

The second part (in #2) sounds much more complex to me, the hardest part being keeping track of the score.

What I am thinking is there should be a sensor connected to the hoop. By splicing into it with a T tap wire I can copy its input and route it to the arduino which can just count in the same way and submit the score?? Just brainstorming but maybe

Powering a gopro doesn't start the recording.

These days

The camera can use the switching on of USB power to boot the camera, and perform an action of your choice

which action might be to start recording.
