Losing my mind - cannot upload anything

Sorry - new to Arduino - but tried everything
Arduino Nano
Uploaded new CH340 driver and shows on COM 3 in the device manager fine under "USB-SERIAL CH340 (COM3)
Have Board: Arduino Nano
ATmeg328 P (also tried the old bootloader Option)
Com3 selected
Cannot load anything at all - not the blink file or anything. Lights on the Nano are flashing red - have tried on two nano

Keep consistently getting the same error: Please help

avrdude done. Thank you.

Problem uploading to board. See http://www.arduino.cc/en/Guide/Troubleshooting#upload for suggestions.

This report would have more information with
"Show verbose output during compilation"
option enabled in File -> Preferences.

You've probably selected incorrect board.
Periodically obtaining response like 0x0d points to incorrect serial speed. Another hint is: Overriding Baud Rate : 19200.

Files\WindowsApps\ArduinoLLC.ArduinoIDE_1.8.42.0_x86__mdqgnx93n4wtt\hardware\tools\avr/etc/avrdude.conf -v -patmega168 -carduino -PCOM3 -b19200 -D -Uflash:w:GXXXXXXXX\arduino_build_539352/Blink.ino.hex:i

This is not correct speed for uploading with the old bootloader nor the new one. It should be 57600 or 115200 baud.
Nano with CH340 is mostly chinese product and they usually use the old bootloader so the speed should be 57600.
Second problem could be in used MCU -patmega168. It is probably not the MCU used on the Nano, but not for sure. Check it if it is not ATmega328P.
