Low pass filter for arduino avcc pin

I have found plenty of references to the need for this between Vcc and AVcc if using the analogue pins but no references as to a specific example.

So can any one give me a schematic of a suitable low pass filter for this pin? What is the cut-off frequency?

in my Atmega328 datasheet (version of 8/10) it is "Figure 23-9. ADC Power Connections" A 10mH inductor and a 100nF capacitor.

westfw: in my Atmega329 datasheet (version of 8/10) it is "Figure 23-9. ADC Power Connections" A 10mH inductor and a 100nF capacitor.

Thanks. I have an Atmega328P and the datasheet mentions but does not specify a low pass filter.

The Uno does not use a low pass filter as such, but you should at least have the 0.1µF capacitor immediately adjacent to that pin, and arguably a 10µF or larger as well.

Why greater than 100nF?
