Low power GSM module+Uart interface MCU

  1. I am looking for GSM module for battery powered application, which can be then interface with MCU over uart with AT commands.

Module should be complete i.e. insert sim & make connections with uart over MCU & ready to go.
I have to send/receive sms.

  1. Earlier I have tried both SIM900A & SIM300, they are not suitable for battery power application.
