Has anyone used one of these IC's with an encoder to interface with an arduino? I've been searching for some example code with no luck. It's a nice IC that outputs pulses and a directional level without any bounce. If I have to write something I will, but if there's code already out there.....
By not posting a link to your part I get this:
LS30 is a biodegradable anionic surfactant produced from a natural fatty acid and the amino acid derivative - sarcosine. It offers a number of functional benefits, including: detergency, ..etc." As your description tells me this is not it. The IC should work just fine if you follow there data sheet and application notes.
Hardware debounce chip between the rotary encoder and MCU.
Seems like tits on a bull. Encoder libraries could already use software debounce.

So I like tits on a bull, your answer was less than helpful but I understand one's sometimes adolescent need to express an inane opinion.
Sorry, did not look properly.
The chip outputs a pulse and a direction signal.
Shouldn't be that hard to code that.
Still not sure why you want to use this chip. A rotary encoder library will do the same.
