LS7366R Index Pulse Configuration as Counter Reset: Counter Value Stuck at 0

Hi everyone,

I'm working with the LS7366R quadrature decoder/counter IC and trying to configure it so that the index pulse resets the counter value to zero with each rotation. However, when I enable this mode, the counter value remains stuck at 0 instead of updating with each pulse.

What is connected to the index pin?

For index pin i connected index wire from rotary encoder and index/ pin from LS7366R encoder chip and then connected to +5v with resistor

Does it work OK if you don't reset the counter?

It's started working what I changed is inverting that index pulse and given to LS7366R because it should be active low earlier it's opposite case
