LTC4150 Coulomb Counter violence battery sensor

Can somebody help and explain how I use that sensor to check battery?

LTC4150 Coulomb Counter violence battery charge current detection Sensor Module

The seller says:

The device monitors the current through a small test resistor between the battery and the negative cargo charger circuit. Because charging is the time of current accumulation,The charge and discharge of the battery can be indicated by a series of output pulses of a single communication pin which is measured by the Micro-Controller.It supports one or two Li ion batteries. Only an external detection resistor and a filter capacitor can provide a very small and simple scheme to monitor the activity of the battery charging . The micro controller provides a series of output pulses and a polarity signal. In this way, the system can start counting from the full charge state and estimate the remaining battery power at any time during the battery charge or discharge period.

Anyone used that sensor?

I am not sure what type of batteries I can monitor. And how.

Thanks for tips

OK. Never mind - I found a perfect hookup guide.
