Mac 10.13.4 - can't open device "/dev/cu.usbmodem1411"

Hello, I have been using my Arduino Uno for some time now without any issues.

I don't think I have made any significant changes to my mac laptop, but now the tools->port "/dev/cu.usbmodem1411" is no longer an option when connecting to the arduino.

I have the same issue on another machine running 10.13.4 and i'm not sure if that is the issue.

Any help is appreciated.

Perhaps you blew out your Arduino Uno doing whatever it is that you are doing!
