MAC address error

I’m getting the following error when I put the MAC address of my Ethernet shield in code.

// MAC address from Ethernet shield sticker under board
byte mac[] = { 90, A2, DA, 0D, A2, AD };
IPAddress ip(192, 168, 0, 12);
EthernetServer server(80);

sketch_aug06a.ino:28:28: error: invalid suffix “D” on integer constant
sketch_aug06a:28: error: ‘DA’ was not declared in this scope
sketch_aug06a:28: error: ‘AD’ was not declared in this scope

Any ideas?

If you want to use hexadecimal constants you have to put 0x in front of them:

byte mac[] = { 0x90, 0xA2, 0xDA, 0x0D, 0xA2, 0xAD };
